About the Captains
Captain Bill Keys was raised in South Jersey where he found his roots dug deep in the sandy shores and boating became the only way of life he ever wanted. He has made Virginia’s Tidewater area his home since he was 19 years old. As a professional Charter Captain, Bill loves to explore the Virginia Coastal Territory and the Chesapeake Bay, which means he has always needed a Seaworthy Vessel for his Sea bound exploits. Having served in the United States Navy for over 24 years in the Engineering field and Maintaining, Reconditioning and Preserving many Private Fishing Vessels and Military Assault Craft he has gained much experience he is eager to share. He quickly learned the painful truth about the cost of boating and now has the opportunity to do something about it by bring you much better prices to maintain your Seaworthy Vessels.
Captain Scott was raised in the small fishing town of Newburyport, Mass. It was there his love for the ocean drew him into the US Navy in 1988. During his Navy career Capt Scott has been on, in and under the water! He previously owned a 39’ sailboat that he and his wife lived aboard in San Diego, seven years later he converted to power boater and currently owns a twin diesel 33’ Shannon convertible. Capt Scott holds a current 100 ton license and a Masters Degree from the Naval Post-Graduate School in Monterey California.
